150 SOLAR HOME SYSTEMS LIGHTING UP THEIR HOME
2016 has been a tough year for many in Fiji with the devastating effects of cyclone Winston and 3 other tropical cyclones, heavy rains and flooding.
Nearly 40,000 homes were damaged and destroyed.The power network in parts of Fiji was destroyed by cyclone Winston causing millions of dollars of damage. Many families are still living without power and in makeshift accommodation. When night falls each family only has torch light to live by.
For many life had been pretty tough this year and to made matters worse areas of Fiji have been flooded. Please spare a thought for our friends in village and surrounding villages who have been flooded, their crops destroyed and the road and bridges to the villages damaged isolating them again. Mr Matt started a fundraiser. It is through the fundraiser that he was able to raise the money, enough to buy 150 solar home system kit catering for two villages in the Nakorotubu district. It is the solar energy light solar generator we provide that light up their house.
Not only our sales team but also factory workers are so moved by these photos. We really appreciated the opportunity to supply solar light solar battery storage system to Mr Matt. Seeing those smiling face makes everything meaningful and worthwhile. Donations came from all kinds of people, we also want to say thanks to all those who contributed so generously. Hopefully Mr Matt can keep on doing this great work! And filled with hope and positivity, we hope to empower power-deficient areas through our solar battery storage system products.
